I am Khalil C. Torneros, an undergraduate student of the University of the Philippines - Diliman, and I would like to request the following documents/data for my research project in one of my subjects:
1. Data on the number of senior high school enrollees per track/strand per region from SY 2019-2020 until SY 2022-2023;
2. The average grade point average (GPA) or general weighted average (GWA) of senior high students per track per region in the aforementioned time period, if possible;
3. In lieu of #2, the average grade 12 NAT scores per strand per region.

Dear Khalil,
I refer to my letter of Nov 16, 2023 10:36:45 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Enrollee data of Senior High School Students from SY 2019-2020 to SY 2022-2023.
To process your request, kindly submit the following documents:
a. Letter specifying the purpose of the request and the data being requested (year administration, scope, variables);
a. School ID to show proof that you are enrolled in a higher education institution;
B. Copy of your approved thesis/dissertation proposal signed by your Adviser;
c. Endorsement letter signed by the school Dean.
Please be informed that the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA) can only release 10% of the actual number of examinees per year. Individual test results with names shall not be released unless the “data subject agrees to the collection and processing of personal information about and/or relating to him/her” per Section 3 of Republic Act 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Additionally, a corresponding amount shall be charged by BEA for the processing of the data request.
