Hi! I would like to request for information regarding: 1. Energy consumption in UPLB per department; 2. Utility cost being paid by UPLB per department.
27 February 2020 Mr. Napoleon Alcira Cabuyao City, Laguna [email protected] Dear Mr. Alcira, This refers to your request dated 22 February 2020 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You asked for the following information: energy consumption in UPLB per department and utility cost being paid by UPLB per department. The purpose of your request is for a Special Problem/Thesis. We regret that we are constrained to DENY your request for the following reasons: 1. We need to know the specific details as to why you need the information i.e. title of the study you are undertaking 2. Submit a duly accomplished Form F, with the signature of your professor on it as the person administering the oath, which is a requirement under the UP FOI Manual. Article III Section 7 of the 1987 Constitution, which is the basis for the requirement as provided in the UP FOI Manual states: “The right of the people to information on matters of public concern shall be recognized.
