Good day!:) I am a member of League of PDAOs, Phils and a DepEd representative gave a very powerful talk about available and projected accessibilities children with disabilities and special needs. We want to partner with them in making it happen locally. Can we ask for a copy of those slides? And those plans and programs? We are moving to create a responsive PDAO, able to act to actual needs of their constituents, and move partners and volunteers. Your support is greatly appreciated in this endeavor.

Good day po.:) I am a new hire in our Persons with Disability Affairs Office in San Miguel, Bulacan. We will have a series of webinars and activities for NDPR Week. (These are on top of the activities that NCDA will have.) We would like to invite them to participate in our activities. Right now we are still planning(costing) that is why we need data. We want to get their information so we can ask if they have students that are interested to participate. We want to make sure that our students are able to participate and if there are barriers like lack of computer, funds, etc. then we can assist. Right now we have 3 activities for students in the pipeline.
1. Tech Voc via Entreprenuership. The SPED Head of San Miguel National High School is willing to teach how to make kim chi/sell as a possible source of income for students with disabilities and their families.
2. https://bit.ly/3c6ThjD We want to invite our students to participate here.
3. For Senior High Students who are interested, we will be tapping them for partnership with local entrepreneurs to get them for part time work.
Also, there are a lot of great national programs that are not implemented. In line with the implementation of the Mandanas Ruling and directives from OGP-Philippines (which I am also part of) we want to start networks to liaise for programs to be implemented, if possible to the letter. This is why we need a guide. For example, I am deeply interested in getting this implemented. https://www.un.org/development/desa/disabilities/wp-content/uploads/sites/15/2019/10/Philippines_National-Plan-of-Action-for-the-Philippine-Decade-of-Persons-with-Disabilities-2003-%E2%80%93-2012.pdf
The meeting we(League of PDAOs, Phils.) had with DepEd was amazing and I really want to get that done because I have children with disabilities myself. I have 4 kids in all. My eldest was diagnosed with autism and my youngest with ADHD-dyslexia. We are blessed because all my kids are smart, talented, healthy and responsible kids. (All of them are honor students. In fact, my eldest is in science class.) I can't really complain. However, still there are a few ticks that shows they are not neurotypical so I want to have a community that respects other people's differences so my children can be more effectively mainstreamed. I think the more I open doors for children like, MY children, the more I help my children be accepted and well integrated in society.
I am looking forward to a positive partnership with your group on this. Thank you so much.
