Hi I am John Vincent III B. Peñanueva a College student in Far Eastern University. I would like to receive an earthquake hazard map of Barangay Holy Spirit Quezon City. We were tasked to make a hazard map of flood, earthquake, fire, and etc. Hence the need for this information.
February 22, 2021 Dear John Vincent, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Feb 21, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Earthquake Hazard map. Response to your request We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request. You may retrieve your requested information from Hazard Hunter Application in this link: https://hazardhunter.georisk.gov.ph/. You can choose - Go to Map View. Then in Display Options: change basemap (we suggest OpenStreetMap). Under Resources, choose download maps. Then Type the details of the area on the boxes on the left side of the screen. The available maps for the area will appear and can be downloaded. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to OST Secretary Fortunato T. de la Peña with email [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
