Dear Sir/Ma’am: We are currently monitoring the developments of the transportation sector in the country. In this regard, we would like to request the following data: 1. DOTr PUV Modernization Program esp. Jeepney Modernization 2. DOTr Specific Plans for 2017 3. Bus Rapid Transit System (Status, Updates, etc.) 4. Route Specification for Integrated Transport System (ITS) Project-South Terminal This will help us come up with better strategies and company decisions to boost sales in the country. March 6, 2017 Dear Anjanette Bansao, I refer to my letter of Mar 03, 2017 11:44:26 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for DOTr Plans and Programs 2017. In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. 1. What type of document do you want on the PUV Modernization program. Please note that the guidelines are still being drafted. 2. On the specific plans, please specify the types of documents or projects you want because because the topic is very broad. During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before May 29, 2017 06:20:14 AM, your request will be closed. Please note that the guidelines are still being drafted. - The draft guidelines, Sir/Ma'am, if there is. 2. On the specific plans, please specify the types of documents or projects you want because because the topic is very broad. - We would appreciate if we could have a rundown of projects (list of all projects) if possible. But we are more keen on the policies with regard to the transport sector (i.e. vehicle registration) and road infrastructures. Thank you and we look forward to your response. You asked for DOTr Plans and Programs 2017. 1. As previously stated, guidelines on the PUV Modernization Program are still being drafted. In lieu of this, we have attached an FAQ for your reference. 2. You may view a rundown of big-ticket projects of the DOTr here: www.build.gov.ph. You may find here the description, cost, status, and other pertinent information. 3. Policies on vehicle registration are available online.
