Ms. Amansec the repatriation assistance for OFWs are provided by the different government agencies including the local government units as provided by the Migrant Workers Act (R.A. 8042 and amended by R.A. 10022). OWWA, on its part, provides repatriation assistance to distressed workers and dependents of departed OFW members. There are financial social welfare benefits, livelihood, medical and education assistance for the qualified OFW and his/her survivors. You can explore the OWWA website:owwa.gov.ph or visit the OWWA Regional Welfare Office 4A at Calamba, Laguna or the Satellite Office at Sta.Cruz, Laguna.
