I downloaded a copy of the DOLE FOI Peoples Manual and found on Annex "B" DOLE Heads of Offices/FOI Champions and FOI Receiving Officers, listed as the NCR Regional Director was Atty. Johnson G. Cañete on page 22. On page 23, listed as the Region Six Regional Director was Henry John Jalbuena. These could not be because it should be Atty. Johnson G. Cañete as Region Six Regional Director and Henry John Jalbuena as NCR Regional Director. Are the people listed as DESIGNATED FOI RECEIVING OFFICERS in NCR and Region Six correct? Please verify, thanks.

May 24, 2019 Dear Carlos Beltran, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 21, 2019 10:17:25 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for DOLE FOI PEOPLES MANUAL. Response to Request We would like to apologize for the confusion caused by the Directory of Officials in the DOLE FOI People's Manual. Said directory of officials was based on reassignment of officials at the time the manual was approved. But due to reshuffling of head of offices, the current Regional Director in RO 6 is RD Cyril L. Ticao while in NCR is Atty. Ana C. Dione. However, due to long process of revising/updating the FOI People's Manual, DOLE will update the said Directory thru an Advisory. Moreover, you may refer to updated Directory of Officials in DOLE's Official Website thru this link https://www.dole.gov.ph/key-officials/. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
