October 24, 2021 Dear Ms. Santa Surtido, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 14, 2021 04:42:40 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for an update of your DOLE-AKAP Application. OWWA Verification System shows that you applied online on June 25, 2021 and was QUALIFIED to the DOLE-AKAP by OWWA Region 2. Succeeding procedures for the release of the financial benefit is handled by by the DOLE Regional Office. Kindly follow-up with the appropriate government agency. Ms. Surtido may we clarify to you the Freedom of Information (FOI) Portal which is a project of the Presidential Communications Operations Office under the Office of the President. Its major function is to allow any Filipino citizen to request information about the data, programs, services and benefits or anything about the transactions and operation of specific government offices, provided, it shall not put into jeopardy the privacy of individuals and matters of national security. What you are requesting is a personal information on your DOLE-AKAP application which is not an information allowed to be shared to the public. Hence, we suggest you address your request to the DOLE Regional or Provincial Director for the status of your benefits.
