Good day po, iverify ko lng po bakit nadeny ang application ko sa DOLE AKAP nag file po ako last april 16,2021. Umuwi po ako ng pinas last feb 2,2021, seaman po ako, hanggang ngayon hnd pa po ako nakaalis ulit, hindi po ba para sa lahat ng OFW po ang financial assistance na po iyan? Wala naman po akong na receive o natanggap na email o tawag po sa OWWA baka po may kulang o mali ang requirements ko po, sana tawagan nila para makompleto ang requirments ko kung kulang o mali po. Tumatawag po ako sa mga hotline nila pero wala pong sumasagot kahit sa region po namin na OWWA wala rin pong sumasagot.

May 10, 2021 Dear Mr. Nasser Mingala, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 10, 2021 01:11:11 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for an update of your DOLE-AKAP Application. OWWA Verification System shows that you applied online on April 16, 2021 and was evaluated by OWWA RWO 9 as DISAPPROVED because you are not qualified to the DOLE-AKAP since you do not have an active employment contract. Based on your OFW Information Sheet your employment contract with HARTMANN CREW PHILIPPINES INC (FOR: ASSOCIATED SHIP MANAGEMENT SERVICES) for the position of Chief Cook was processed on 2/19/2020 but you were not deployed. So, hindi po natuloy and employment contract. Nakasaad po sa qualification requirements para sa DOLE-AKAP ay valid employment contract and a proof for the loss of employment is on account of COVID--19. Ang status ninyo po ay hindi na active OFW If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J.
