September 16, 2020 Dear Ms. Jocelyn Pua, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Sep 11, 2020 10:15:45 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for an update of your DOLE-AKAP Application. OWWA records show that you applied online on 28 August 2020 and is on cue for an evaluator from OWWA Region II. Once an evaluator is available to validate the documents you submitted with the OFW Membership database, you will be notified by email or phone for the next steps. We apologize for the delays in the processing of the DOLE-AKAP Applications due to the large volume of applicants and poor internet connections. Moreover, we are awaiting for the funds coming from the DOLE for the special financial assistance for the OFWs repatriated due to the COVID 19 pandemic. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
