Good Day! I'm Eddie B. Tacang, an active member of OWWA. My application was denied and I would like to humbly ask for reconsideration regarding my application. I have been infected with COVID 19 in Dubai, UAE and I'm currently here in the Philippines for good because of my health.

October 10, 2021 Dear Mr. Eddie Tacang, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 05, 2021 12:40:46 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for an update of your DOLE-AKAP Application. OWWA Verification System shows that you applied online on June 17, 2021 and was DISAPPROVED by OWWA Region 10 since your name is not found in the OFW Shelter Database. If you have been infected in Dubai and returned to the Philippines you should have records to prove that you underwent the mandatory quarantine to avail of DOLE-AKAP. For other livelihood assistance, contact the the OWWA Region 10 if you are qualified to the Balik-Pinas, Balik Hanap Buhay (BPBH) . Mr. Eddie Bolandres Tacang may we clarify to you the Freedom of Information (FOI) Portal which is a project of the Presidential Communications Operations Office under the Office of the President. Its major function is to allow any Filipino citizen to request information about the data, programs, services and benefits or anything about the transactions and operation of specific government offices, provided, it shall not put into jeopardy the privacy of individuals and matters of national security. Good Day! It is because my flight was from dubai, uae to cebu, philippines. i only registered to the mactan arrival registration form and when we were in the hotel provided by owwa, they just ask for our details and I ask them if me and my wife still have to fill up the owwa uwian na and they said no. i can send proof of our arrival in cebu as well as our negative swab results. please reconsider and if possible id like to appeal on this matter
