Thank you for your request dated May 17, 2022 05:49:17 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for a change of claimant to the DOLE-AKAP financial assistance. Pleased be CORRECTLY Informed that DOLE-AKAP is a program of the Department of Labor and Employment. However, OWWA was instructed to validate the information submitted by the OFWs. Based on available records, you applied for DOLE-AKAP online on March 31, 2021 and your documents were forwarded to DOLE Regional Office IV on 04/26/2021. The OFW Verification System show that you were employed on 12/04/2018 at UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. Further records show that you arrived on April 3, 2021 in the Philippines. Check with DOLE Regional Office IVA if you are qualified to the DOLE-AKAP since there are no records to show that you have a valid OEC processed at POEA when you returned in April 2021. All inquiries and requests for claims or change of claimant, as in your case, pertaining to DOLE-AKAP must be addressed to DOLE Regional Office IV-A at Calamba City or call the DOLE Hotline 1349.
