OWWA's verification records show that you applied online on 19 June 2020 and is on cue for an evaluator from OWWA Region VII. Once an evaluator is available to validate the documents you submitted you will be notified by email or phone for the next steps. The DOLE-AKAP is a program spearheaded by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) that is dedicated for OFWs who were repatriated/affected due to the COVID 19 pandemic. OWWA does the evaluation of applications and sincerely apologizes for the delays in the processing due to the large volume of applicants and poor internet connections. Moreover, we are waiting for releases of the fund for this special financial assistance coming from DOLE. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
