Hi! I'm Exequiel Gaitan, an OFW from Saudi Arabia, and was terminated due to recession because of the pandemic. My application on DOLE-Akap was denied and I tried to call your numbers and write an email but no one responded. Thank you and hoping for your reconsideration.

May 14, 2021 Dear Exequiel Gaitan, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 14, 2021 10:18:47 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for an update of your DOLE-AKAP Application. OWWA Verification System shows that you applied online on January 12, 2021 and was evaluated by OWWA RWO 4A as DISAPPROVED since you were not able to provide proofs of: (1) CLEAR COPY OF PASSPORT, (2) AIRLINE TICKET AND (3) PROOF OF LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT ON ACCOUNT OF COVID-19. Prepare all the qualification requirements and resubmit to OWWA-RWO 4A for reconsideration. Provide copies of your valid employment contract or latest OEC as support documentary evidence. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request. However, if you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
