Good day Ma'am/sir, This is James Acala. I would like to ask an assistance on how to apply for the 2nd wave of Dole Akap. I tried to browsed in Dole akap website but It only says "I'm allready to OWWA Dole-Akap Program!. Thank you.

September 30, 2021 Dear James Acala, Greetings! This has reference to your inquiry on how to avail for the second tranche of DOLE-AKAP Financial Assistance for OFWs. We understand that this inquiry is for DOLE AKAP under Bayanihan 2. DOLE-AKAP is a one-time financial assistance of USD200.00 or Php 10,000.00 or its equivalent to the local currency of the host country per Department Order No. 212 Series 2020 or the Prescribing Guidelines on the Provision of Financial Assistance for Displaced Land based and Sea based Filipino Workers due to the Corona Virus (COVID-19). For the eligibility to avail of the program, applicant OFW "must not receive any financial support/assistance from the receiving countries/employers" stated under section II, no. 3 of the guidelines. Attached is the said guidelines for your reference. Per DOLE-AKAP database, you have granted with the php 10,000.00 cash assistance released last May 7, 2020 under Bayanihan 1.
