hello Maam/Sir, Greeting I am Renato Obra jr. of San Manuel, Tarlac, Previous working at FIVE Star Marine Corp. as a Seafarer, last June 14, 2020, the company stop it's operation because of the effect of the Pandemic (COVID 19). I am currently jobless for more than 3 months. I am writing to request for DOLE AKAP CASH ASSISTANCE for ofw. I have completed My application in the DOLE AKAP website 3 Months ago but still no response. Please consider My plea. Thank you very much and hoping for your immediate response to My request. October 29, 2020 Dear Mr. Renato D. Obra, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 29, 2020 01:09:54 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for an update of your DOLE-AKAP Application. OWWA records show that you applied online on 6 July 2020 and was evaluated and APPROVED by OWWA Region III. You will be notified by email or phone for the next steps. We do apologize for the delays in the processing of your DOLE-AKAP Application due to the large volume of applicants and poor internet connections. Moreover, we have to maintain procedure controls for fund releases coming from government to the partner Money Transfers for disbursement of the special financial assistance for the OFWs repatriated due to the COVID 19 pandemic. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter.
