June 4, 2018 Dear Andrei Jo Dela Cruz, This is to acknowledge receipt of the inquiry you sent through the eFOI portal, dated 30 May 2018, requesting for a copy of the DOJ resolution regarding AMLC complaint against Maia Deguito, PhilRem Executives, Etc. However, the Department is constrained to deny your query pursuant to the Memorandum of the Executive Secretary dated 24 November 2017, relative to the Inventory of Exceptions to Executive Order No. 2 (S. 2016). Under item 9 (f) of the said memorandum, requested information pertains to comments and disclosures on pending cases in judicial proceedings are deemed exempt from the right to access of information.
