Greetings!

As stated in the website, when FIES is conducted at a given year "t", it is done in two rounds: one in July year "t" for the 1st round to cover January-June (year "t") data; and another in January year "t+1" for the 2nd round to gather the July-December (year "t") data. 

In line with this, may I kindly please request the data for both rounds of the detailed FIES for the years 2000-2015. Obtaining the data for the two rounds of each detailed FIES data are critical for determining appropriate poverty measurements for transient and chronic poor component.

I refer to my letter of Jan 05, 2018 11:10:42 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Detailed 2-round(s) FIES Data.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. 

As per our subject matter division (SMD) who handles FIES, the PUF of FIES that we released is the combination of the 1st and 2nd round.  If you are requesting for a separate file for each round, this requires a special tabulation and to be requested to them.  This request will be chargeable based on our data request pricing policy.

In particular, it would be helpful to know if you will still continue this request so that we will inform our SMD to process it.

Good day!

Yes, what I indeed need is the separate PUF for the 1st and 2nd rounds (semestral breakdown) of FIES 2000-2015, as well as their respective estimates of sampling error. May I please know beforehand how much is the price for the said data.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not  release separate PUF for the two rounds.  The official
statistics for FIES results is based on the annual estimates.

We also found out that your were in our office before asking for this request too.  And our subject matter division (SMD) humbly explained this to you that we are not releaseing a separate PUF for these 2 round FIES.
