Established at 1999, we at Lakbay Kalikasan have been providing worthwhile activities to K-12 students by providing them experiences outside the four walls of their educational institutions. With them being equipped and prepared with life outside school, we aim not just to provide them learning about the real world but also help them experience it first hand and promote healthy attitude and positive values. With the current pandemic situation, the education and tourism industries are one of the most greatly affected sectors in the Philippine economy. Land, water and air travels have been strictly monitored to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the country plus face-to-face interaction between students and teachers are shifted to online learning. In light with this, our goals to provide one of a kind outdoor educational experiences to students have been put a temporary halt. But instead of focusing on the negative aspect of the situation, we have seen a silver lining with this and found an opportunity to provide students and teachers an alternative for Outbound Education. Backed up with thorough research, quality planning and implementation, we have created online programs which can help participants explore their talents and skills in career opportunities that they are going to take in preparation for their future and partnered with an organization that aims to protect the environment and create young nature conservationists even at home. As we continuously take aim at far-reaching goals it would both be an honor and a privilege to collaborate with visionary government agencies like you to educate the youth as we adapt to the evolutionary normal. With this, we would like request an endorsement from your good office a copy of the updated AC 2020-2021 DepEd Masterlist of Private Schools that we will use for our research and development plan for the alternative virtual programs. The purpose of the said masterlist is for our guide and reference in conceptualizing alternative outbound programs to be done online and partner with the different school administrators, teachers and students in implementing these programs even though they are at the comforts of their homes.
