November 4, 2022 Dear Aika Maloles, I refer to my letter of Oct 15, 2022 12:27:27 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Demography of Cancer Patients of UP-PGH Manila. Part of the protocol requires eFOI requestors to initially seek endorsement from the UP Manila Research and Ethics Board prior to the approval of the request. It can be accessed online through the UPMREB website (reb.upm.edu.ph) . There are forms to be filled up and instructions are given. Subsequently, requestors need to register via online to the Research Grants Administration Office (RGAO). Once clearance has been obtained, the PGH Expanded Hospital Research Office (EHRO) will issue a permit for the request to proceed and to be acted upon by the concerned department. For coordination and other inquiries pertaining to the conduct of research in PGH, the EHRO can be reached at telephone number 8554-8400 local 2064. Its office is located on the second floor of UP PGH.
