Thank you for your request dated Aug 17, 2022 01:22:06 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for data needed for dissertation at the Ateneo De Manila Graduate School. Mr. Lubangco as a graduate student of the ATENEO De Manila university you must be fully knowledgeable that the government agencies under the Executive Branch have specific mandates and therefore generate data/information related to its mandate. Furthermore the Philippine Statistics Authority is the repository of data sets of government and you have to ask the for the census/survey data of OFWs. You may also inquire from POEA since these are deployment data. Moreover, be correctly informed that the OWWA is a membership-institution and can share data if allowed by law only on its OFW-members. Read the R.A. 10801 an act creating the OWWA. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing the OWWA- FOI Decision Makers at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request.
