Your request
You requested information on the following data: (1) Number of households in the 2nd District-Province of Surigao del Norte, including data on the number of Senior Citizens, Single Parent and Urban Poor for research and development in the Province of Surigao.
Response to your request
The DSWD only has information on (i) number of poor households and (ii) number of indigent senior citizens, indigent single parents and urban poor.
Thus, we shall partially grant your request and we shall refer your request with respect to this matter to the proper DSWD office. We shall send it to the e-mail address you provided once we have received the response from the office responsible.
For complete data, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) may have the data you require. Under Republic Act 10625 (the “Philippine Statistical Act of 2013”), the PSA is the government agency responsible for preparing and conducting periodic censuses on population, housing, agriculture, fisheries, business, industry and other sectors of the economy. Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the PSA by submitting a request to the PSA via this portal. You may also contact the PSA by telephone at 8462-6600 locals 839, 833 and 834 or via email at [email protected].

In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
