October 10, 2023 Dear Kingsley, I refer to my letter of Oct 09, 2023 04:20:34 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Data on the National Achievement Tests. To process your request, kindly submit the following documents: a. Letter specifying the purpose of the request and the data being requested (year administration, scope, variables); a. School ID to show proof that you are enrolled in a higher education institution; B. Copy of your approved thesis/dissertation proposal signed by your Adviser; c. Endorsement letter signed by the school Dean. Please be informed that the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA) can only release 10% of the actual number of examinees per year. Individual test results with names shall not be released unless the “data subject agrees to the collection and processing of personal information about and/or relating to him/her” per Section 3 of Republic Act 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012. Additionally, a corresponding amount shall be charged by BEA for the processing of the data request. For more information, kindly refer to Section 14 of DepEd Order no. 55, s. 2016, or the “Policy Guidelines on the National Assessment of Student Learning for the K-12 Basic Education Program” through this link: https://www.deped.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/DO_s2016_55-3.pdf Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
