Parba I, a 5th year architecture student from New Era University.I am currently undertaking my undergraduate architectural thesis entitled “Sight Film Institute: Extracting Creativity Through Interactive Design”, which tackles about the correlation of application of interactive design for the development of the creativity of young filmmakers.
In order to support my thesis, it is important to gather the number of students enrolled in Arts & Design Track as they are the potential students who could likely enroll in a film school. Therefore, I would like to request the following data from your office:

Film has become an essential part in our lives, especially in today’s modern world. With the current pandemic situation, we had made ourselves more entertained through music videos and films made by local and foreign independent and mainstream film companies. Films provide an escape from realities (Griffin, 2013). The small number of film institutes in the Philippines, especially in the capital city can be an indicator of the reason why there are not many aspiring filmmakers in the field who take risks in improving and developing quality films. This becomes a hindrance for potential filmmakers to become better with their crafts. The significance of the study is to contribute a development and growth in the local film industry by designing a film institute catered to help enhance the quality of films in the country which would help the film industry be well-known locally and internationally. The study aims to create a film institute which would provide important facilities that would help improve the skills and abilities of aspiring filmmakers.
