October 16, 2018 Dear Angelo, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 10, 2018 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Data on Madrasas in ARMM in 2017 for each ARMM citiy/municipality + Isabela City + Cotabato City. Response to your request The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos has no jurisdiction on Madrasah in the ARMM. It is handled by ARMM DepEd Bureau of Madaris, where you may address your concern. Madrasah has now become an attractive issue for many sectors of the society, especially the Security Sector. Hence, it is suggested that you elaborate more of yourself and be specific and clear in your purpose. Research purpose is too broad. You may provide a draft copy of your research paper with endorsement. Thank you. For further assistance you may review the FAQ section of the eFOI site: https://www.foi.gov.ph/help. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Saidamen B. Pangarungan. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
