In order for us to work further on your request, we would like to inform you that data on forest cover is officially generated by the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority every 5 years. However, since the data on forest cover for 2020 is not yet officially communicated to our Office, the data that we can provide is the 2015 forest cover. Your request You asked for Data on Forest Cover, by Province, latest year available (after 2015). Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information requested. Currently, we don't have data on forest cover after 2015. We are still waiting for the official data for 2020 forest cover that will emanate from the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) However, you may wish to contact NAMRIA at https://www.namria.gov.ph or resubmit your request addressed to the correct agency on the eFOI portal. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Jim O. Sampulna, Acting Secretary, DENR, Visayas Avenue, Diliman QC. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
