Dear Sir/Ma’am:
We are ATRIEV, a not-for-profit organization managed and operated by persons whose passion is to serve persons with disabilities. Majority of our personnel are visually impaired persons but despite the limitations, we are able to provide training programs to help them move forward in education and livelihood through technology. For details about ATRIEV, please visit www.facebook.com/atrievofficial and www.atriev.org.
During the pandemic, persons with visual impairment were restricted from traveling due to health protocols on physical distancing. Our top management personnel are both totally blind and needed a sighted assistant to physically bring them to several places which, during the height of the pandemic, was not allowed.
Given the situation above cited, no ATRIEV personnel is discharging his/her function in public place. All ATRIEV personnel have and still continue to work from home up to June 30, 2022 and may be extended indefinitely.
Regarding this, we are requesting data from your office about blind and visually learners graded from DepEd office. Below is our application to an international funder for the production of books accessible to blind and visually impaired learners.
ATRIEV will submit an Expression of Interest for funding opportunity with the following details:
Call for applications for training and technical assistance on how to produce books in accessible formats for those who are blind, partially sighted, or otherwise print disabled. Expressions of Interest are open to organizations (or partnerships of organizations) located in developing or least developed countries. Successful applicants will be eligible to receive a grants. The deadline for applications is extended to April 15, 2022. Please click this link for more information on how to apply:

We are confident that your good office understands and supports the plight of persons with disabilities. We know that you are one with us in giving persons with disabilities a brighter future and not hinder institutions like ours in pursuing this cause.
Thank you and here’s hoping for your kind consideration and favorable response.
Respectfully,
Antonio Llanes, Jr.
