May 7, 2021 Dear Zion Enrico Licup, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Mar 28, 2021 03:07:36 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for Data about Intermodal transportation system in the Philippines. Response to Request 1.) At present, complementing the already-established PITX, a total of four (4) interim ITXs are already opened, issued a Terminal Certification by the LTFRB, and are currently operating; namely: (1) North Luzon Express Terminal (NLET) located at Philippine Arena, Bocaue, Bulacan; (2) Valenzuela Gateway Complex (VGC) in Valenzuela City; (3) Araneta Center Bus Terminal in Cubao, Quezon City; and (4) Sta. Rosa Integrated Terminal in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna. 2 & 3. Refer to LTFRB MC 2020-030: https://ltfrb.gov.ph/memorandum-circular-no-2017-030-guidelines-for-off-street-terminal-operations-under-department-order-no-2017-011-otherwise-known-as-the-omnibus-franchising-guidelines/ 4. Each terminal has a different study, but since terminals are a public good, they should be inclusive, and thus useable for everyone. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
