Your request You asked for The Current Visa Status Of Foreigner. Response to your request We were able to determine that this particular information is protected under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, comprehensive and strict privacy legislation “to protect the fundamental human right of privacy, of communication while ensuring free flow of information to promote innovation and growth.” Thus, the Bureau could not disclose the subject information to private individual without the Special Power of Attorney of the owner of the Data or with court order. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the BI Commissioner, JAIME H.
