Isang mapagpalang araw po. Ako po si Esmeralda Ignacio, kabiyak ni Alvin Ignacio na ngayon ay kasalukuyang nakaadmit sa New Sinai Hospital MDI Sta Rosa ay humihingi ng tulong pinansyal sa kinauukulan. Kami po ngayon ay dumaranas ng matinding kagipitan dulot ng pagkakahospital ng aking asawa simula pa noong Oktubre 2. Siya po ay PWD dahil sa kanyang pagkakaroon ng chronic kidney disease stage 4 at single kidney. Siya po ay nadiagnose covid positive sa kabila ng kanyang mga comorbidities.

Response to your request
We wish to inform you that the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program is for hospital confinement, chemotherapy and dialysis requests. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated.
For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance.
For the Medical Assistance Program requirements, kindly go to this link https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx.
For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to . Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
