Dear Mx. Malabayabas,
Greetings!
Thank you for your request dated Apr 26, 2023 09:33:18 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
Your Request
You asked for Crime Statistics on Safe Spaces Act.
Response to Request
We are providing you with available information on the Crime Statistics on Safe Spaces Act per region in the Philippines, which is from January 2019 to December 2022 only, as provided by the Philippine National Police. Kindly see the attachment in this reply for the file we have received from the mentioned agency.
However, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, PCW does not have the other details you have requested, such as the number of cases in Marinduque, place of commission of offense, offender's relationship to victim, and case status. You may refer to the Philippine National Police, for it is the most appropriate office for your concern. As of now, PNP is the only source of data on the national incidence of violence against women and has a well-established reporting system through their Crime Information Reporting and Analysis System (CIRAS). This electronic system is fully operational in all police stations and community precincts in the country. You may reach them through the following contact information for further assistance with data and analysis concerns:
