Thank you for your request dated May 05, 2022 11:11:42 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for financial assistance for OFWs affected by COVID-19 at the workplace. OFW Verification System shows that your OWWA Membership expired in Apr 10, 2020 and that you applied for DOLE-AKAP on April 13, 2020 and received the P10K Financial Assistance on 04/29/2020. As of date, we do not see in our records any recent OFW employment contract (OEC) nor any payment of your OWWA Membership which are mandatory requirements if your employment documents were processed at POEA. If you are currently in KSA then you must be aware of the protocols that you have to inform the Philippine Embassy of your medical condition because they will refer to your employment contract which states that the employer will shoulder your medication and payment for hospitalization and other amenities. Send an email to the Philippine Embassy at Riyadh so they can act on your concern for assistance. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request.
