December 2, 2022 Dear Stephanie Pacatang, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Dec 02, 2022 09:07:23 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for covid 19 cash assistance status. Response to Request All information provided in eFOI are made public. For privacy, we will provide the information through email. Thank you ------------- -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS; -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19; For more information, you may reach us through our chatbot in our website ecc.gov.ph or FB page facebook.com/ecc.official Thank you.
