Good day! I am a senior undergraduate taking BS Development Communication at the University of the Philippines Los Banos. I am requesting information regarding the completion rate of Junior and Senior High School students per region in 2019 and 2020 for the fulfillment of my academic requirement in one of my courses, DEVC 127: Data Journalism.
In this course, we are tasked to request for a local dataset that hasn't been posted online, and create a brief analysis based on our insights regarding the data we have obtained. Thus, I would like to request for the data at hand to determine whether there is a difference between the completion rate of high school students during pre-COVID-19 (2019) and amidst the ongoing pandemic (2020).
Moreover, we are tasked to create a reflection paper regarding the process and experience we had in requesting the dataset from the eFOI platform. In the paper, we will explain how we obtained the dataset and assess the accessibility of the eFOI platform in terms of delivering data requests.
To sum up my request, here are the specificities of my request:
a. Information needed: completion rate of junior and senior high school students per region in 2019 and 2020
b. Purpose: fulfillment of my academic requirement in DEVC 127: Data Journalism
c. Intended Output: Analysis Paper regarding the insights from the requested dataset, and Reflection Paper regarding our experience in requesting the dataset.
Your favorable considerations will be a significant contribution to the accomplishment of this academic endeavor.
Thank you so much for your assistance.
Yours,
Carmela Isabelle Disilio
