Dear Seth Jared Saluta,
Greetings!
Thank you for your request dated Nov 04, 2023 04:57:48 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
You asked for Colonoscopy Images of Patients in the Philippines.
Upon endorsement of your request to the Division of Gastroenterology of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), you are advised to coordinate with the said division in order to have a collaborative approach to your study, as this may benefit not just the patients it caters to, but contribute to the education of our fellows-in-training.
We were advised that since videos stored in the Central Endoscopy Unit (CENDU) are not catalogued by disease, the fellows of the division will have to manually search for the videos, which may involve certain amount of time and resources. The said division is hoping that once their specialists have reviewed the deep learning model, the fellows-in-training may be able to work with you and assist you in your research, by way of co-authorship.
The Division of Gastroenterology can be reached through phone number 8554-8400 local 3307 or 2275.
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Dr. Jose V. Tecson III at [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
Also, Your opinion of our service matters. Please help us improve our service by sparing a few minutes of your time to answer our Client Satisfaction Survey using this link: https://bit.ly/UPMFOISurvey
