I already read the PD997 and IRR on your website, but I would like to clarify the following questions for my research:
1. Should the title of a "Scientific and Technological Specialist" be earned first and awarded by the DOST before qualifying for "Scientific and Technological Specialist Eligibility"?
2. Are the "Scientific and Technological Specialist Awarded by DOST" and "Scientific and Technological Specialist Eligibility awarded by the CSC" different?
3. In the analogy of "Honor Graduate Eligibility (PD907)" - which needed to earn the highest distinction from a recognized HEI before qualifying in the PD907, is it the same as the "Scientific and Technological Specialist Eligibility (PD997)" - which needed to earn the Scientific and Technological Specialist awarded by the DOST before qualifying in the PD997?
4. Is the Scientific and Technological Specialist awarded by DOST a national-level recognition based on qualifications?
5. Is a "Scientific and Technological Specialist" a kind of recognition awarded by the DOST should be given to the professionals who pass the criteria set by the DOST such as research, inventions, teaching, and degree?
