Your Request
You asked for Claim Status on Philippine Prudential Life Insurance Co., Inc. (PPLIC).
Response to Request
In relation to your request, please be informed of the following as advised by the Insurance Commission (IC)’s Conservatorship, Receivership and Liquidation Division:
1. PPLIC is currently in the process of Liquidation with Atty. Iris Sylvia L. Bonifacio as the designated Liquidator. The public was already notified of the liquidation status of the company, through a Notice to the Public that was published in the Philippine Star newspaper on 02, 09 and 16 March 2018.
2. Thereafter, the Insurance Commission (IC) also issued a Final Notice to the Public that was also published in Philippine Star on 15 June 2022, setting the final deadline for filing of claims against PPLIC until 29 September 2022.
3. Note further that the public was notified of the PPLIC's assets to be sold in a Notice of Sale published in the Philippine Star on 26 April 2020. We shall be posting another Notice when the settlement of claims will start. Meanwhile, the Liquidator is working on liquefying the corporate assets of the company.
