Good day! I am trying to get the info on what the DILG circular or memo is on the senior discount on hotel room rates. I have had different experiences dealing with hotels on this issue. In Metro Manila, Cebu, Iloilo, and Palawan, the hotels/resorts have always given the 20% Senior Discount on the room that they use even if they have non-senior companions (ex. senior citizen books a family room with 4 non-senior non family members). Most resorts in Reg8 divide the room rate by the number of people and give the discount on the share of the seniors only.
