Dear Director Mae L. Chua, Good day. We received a copy of the Circular Letter No. 2020-11 dated August 20, 2020 pertaining to the warning against individuals or organized groups claiming to have the capacity or influence to facilitate the release of funds to LGUs. We did receive a letter from a Cavite based company duly registered under SEC -- the LPD Lending Investor Corp last July 30, 2020 offering a cash advance. With the recent warning from your office, we would like to verify the veracity of their claim and to report if ever this particular offer is fraudulent in nature.
