19 September 2019 Dear Ms. Llizza Cabilin, You requested for information on the following data with respect to the province of Zambales: “(1) Number of recorded cases of children in conflict with law; (2) Most type of crime committed; (3) Number of children-at-risk; (4) Average age of child that has committed a crime; and (5) Zambales Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning”. Unfortunately, the DSWD does not have the information you need. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request. Under Republic Act 10630 (the “Juvenile Justice Welfare Act”), the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council (JJWC) oversees the implementation of the law. They may have the data you need. Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the JJWC by submitting a request to them via this portal. You may also contact them by telephone at 921-0565 or via email at [email protected]. Number (5) is only available at the Provincial LGU of Zambales. Hence, you may also direct your request to them. Further, they may also have data on numbers (1), (2), (3) and (4).
