March 23, 2021 Dear Mr. Bryan Tiongco, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Mar 19, 2021 01:24:59 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for a change of claimant to your DOLE-AKAP Application. Mr. Tiongco this is not the first time that we have informed you that changes in the claimant for DOLE-AKAP must be addressed to DOLE Regional Office and not with OWWA. OWWA only verifies and validates the authenticity of the OFW's personal data while it is the Department of Labor and Employment that releases the DOLE-AKAP financial benefit coming from the Philippine Government as part of the BAYANIHAN Fund support of government to OFWs. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at email: [email protected].
