March 15, 2021 Dear JERRY PALATTAO, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Mar 15, 2021 01:04:42 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You asked for Certification of Retrenchment to support your claim for retrenchment benefits of SSS. As per DOLE Department Circular No. 01 s. 2019, Guidelines in the issuance of DOLE Certification as a requirement for Application of Payment of Unemployment insurance or Involuntary Separation, the certification shall be issued by the DOLE Regional or Field Office having jurisdiction to your company.
