Your Request You asked for cash assistant program for covid 19 positive. Response to Request approved napo sa SSS yong sickness claims ko ..pero hindi po kasi nailagay ng company namin yong EC cliams upon filling ng sickness ko,. 1. pwede po ba yong sa SSS sickness ang ipasa.. No. Magkaiba po ang SSS sickness benefit at EC sickness benefit 2. or pwede paba akong mag file sa SSS ng EC claim related duon sa unang file namin na sickness claims as covid 19 positive? tatanggapin pa po ba ng SSS even last March 2 to 16, 2021 pa po yong Quarantine period ko.. this week lang po na approved yong sickness claims ko..thank you. Yes. 3 years po ang prescriptive period for filing EC claim -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS; -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19; If you are an employee who suffered from a work-connected COVID, pls file your EC sickness claim at the SSS branch nearest you(for private sector employees); or at the GSIS (for public sector employees). The forms are available at the SSS/GSIS/ECC website. https://ecc.gov.ph/downloads/ EC Claims Requirements: 1. Certificate of Employment (indicate the last day of duty prior to contracting COVID-19. 2. RT-PCR or Swab Test Result (Positive) 3. Medical Certificate or Home Quarantine Clearance 4. 2 Valid IDs Forms (SS Form B300 Sickness Notification and SS Form B309 Accident Report) If you already have an approved EC sickness claim at SSS/GSIS, you can then file an EC cash assistance claim at the ECC. The EC CA application form is available in our website / FB page and the requirements are as follows: 1. Proof of Approved EC Claim Voucher from SSS/GSIS 2.
