Hi! I would like to ask an assistance from your good office if you can help us with our mother's hospital bills and needs. She is 64 years old, widow and she suffered mild stroke and a covid positive. We are advised to follow the protocol for a 14 day home quarantine so we can't work to help lessen her bill. I hope your good office can help us financially. It will be a big help for my mon who is fighting for her life right now.

Thank you for your request dated Sep 19, 2021 08:12:33 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Cash Assistance for Covid Patient ( Senior Citizen and has mild stroke). Response to your request We wish to inform you that the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program is for hospital confinement, chemotherapy and dialysis requests. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated. For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance. For the Medical Assistance Program requirements, kindly go to this link https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx. For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to .
