21 November 2019 Dear Ms. Evelyn Reyes, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated 19 November 2019 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You requested for information on: Assessment on environmental condition of ISFs such as health conditions (data on diseases acquired in those areas), education, poverty, crime rate, child abuse and the like. Response to your request Unfortunately, the DSWD does not have the information you need. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request. It is the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) that may have the data you need. Under R.A. 10625 (the Philippine Statistical Act of 2013), the PSA is the government agency responsible for preparing and conducting periodic censuses on population, housing, agriculture, fisheries, business, industry and other sectors of the economy. Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the PSA by submitting a request to the PSA via this portal. You may also contact the PSA by telephone at 462-6600 locals 839, 833 and 834 or via email at [email protected]. Additionally, the Department of Health (DOH) may also have the data you wish to obtain. Under Executive Order No. 292, the DOH is the government agency that is responsible to collect, analyze and disseminate statistical and other relevant information on the country’s health situation, and require the reporting of such information from appropriate sources.
