This study aimed to develop Strategic Intervention Materials for least learned topics in Grade 8 biology for the Division of Agusan Del Norte that will serve as remediation and intervention materials to the least-learned topics develop strategic intervention materials .A sample of fifteen Grade 8 Science teachers from different municipalities of Division of Agusan Del Norte took a questionnaire checklist to determine the least learned topics in Biology 8 they have perceived. This will serve as bases for the development of the strategic intervention materials for grade 8 Biology. Based on the results, Heredity: Inheritance and Variation of traits got the lowest rank among the topics which considered as the least-learned topics in grade 8 biology. These are Stages of Mitosis to identify, describe and arrange proper sequence of the phases of mitosis. , The Power 4 of Meiosis to identify, describe and arrange proper sequence of the phases of meiosis and Gregor Mendel and His Garden Pea to give the phenotype and the genotype of an organism and solve some genetic problem using Punnet square and determine the genotype and phenotype of its offspring. Based on the findings of the study, the three developed SIMs on Heredity such as Stages of Mitosis, The Power 4 of Meiosis and Gregor Mendel and His Garden Pea are valid in terms of their content and usability. Revisions were done to make these materials free of errors and can really cater students’ needs effectively.
