Hi! I am currently conducting a survey for a property in Lapu-Lapu City. I would like to know what is the allowable Floor-to-area ratio (FAR), or height limit of properties in the areas of Mactan? May I also request for any supporting documents regarding height restrictions so I can use it as source of information? Thank you,

May 31, 2022 Dear Christian Dela Cruz, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 30, 2022 05:39:09 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for Building Height Limit Near Mactan Airport. Response to Request Your FOI request is approved. Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested for you will need to submit a Height Limitation application (with required documents) in order for CAAP to determine/compute the height limit at a specific location based on all standards established for the nearest Aerodrome. For an official/formal request for Height Limitation, please refer to the attached application form for Height Limitation (HL). You need to submit an HL application (with required documents) in order for the Operational Safety Division (OSD) to determine/compute the height limit at a specific location based on all standards established for the nearest Aerodrome. Requirements are listed on the application form. Once the requirements are prepared, email the scanned copies to the OSD at [email protected] for the initial checking of completeness (1 pdf per application or site). Also send a filled-out “Applications to be submitted format_v2.xlsx” and follow the notes on each cell. Please use the updated format of Application Form (CAAP-ADM-AOD-001) and Geodetic Engineer's Certificate (CAAP-ADM-AOD-002). Schedule for submission of hard copies will be given after the OSD have confirmed the completeness of the application documents presented. For further clarification, you may call the OSD at (02) 7944-2068. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
