This refers to your Request for Information (RFI) dated November 9, 2022 requesting for a copy of the Budget Operations Manual for Barangay (BOMB) 2018 or the latest edition.
Please be informed that the DBM has published the Primer on Local Budgeting Volume II: For Barangays which can be accessed in the DBM website through this link: dbm.gov.ph/index.php/dbm-publications/primer-on-local-budgeting#vol-ii-for-barangays.
Said Primer intends to serve as a manual and guide for barangay leaders and citizens in formulating their respective Barangay Budget Plan. It also includes brief discussion on the internal and external sources of barangay funds and the barangay budgeting process.
On the other hand, there is a latest copy of the Barangay Budget Operations Manual (BBOM) which was issued in 2018 by a former DBM Regional Director of Region 4A. Hence, for your further reference, you may procure a printed copy through Ms. Ella Loraine D. Obra of the said region, at telephone number 8657-3300 local 8011.
Attached hereto is a Notice of Partial Grant (Annex F) relative to your RFI.
