Hi I would like to check my status under my name Anna Marie G. Pupos my passport no. P7326250B if I am in the immigration Hold Departure Order HDO, we have a Warrant Of Arrest issued with a Crim. Case No. 4678 issued at 3rd Municipal Circuit Trial Court by Judge Alvyn R. Lopena. As this case was filed at 8th of July 2021, can I request for a file if my name indicated below is already in the HDO List for as I am going home to the Philippines this month in the 29th of April 2023? Your request You asked for BOI Hold Departure Order. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we would need for you to personally file and request to check if you have an existing derogatory record at BI Main Office. Derogatory Record consist of personal information that is protected under the Data Privacy Act 2012, comprehensive and strict privacy legislation “to protect the fundamental human right of privacy, of communication while ensuring free flow of information to promote innovation and growth.” Other ways are to authorize someone with Special Power of Attorney or with court order. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the BI Commissioner, NORMAN G. TANSINGCO, Bureau of Immigration, Magallanes Drive, Intramuros, Manila.
