Good day!
The intention of requesting from your good office is for us to have bases for our reply regarding to one of the taxpayers on their Letter of Protest against Local Business Tax Assessment for CY 2020 relative to their retirement of business application submitted to us. I would like to request for the following copies of the BLGF Legal Opinions dated:
1. May 10, 2001
2. February 4, 2013
3. May 2, 2013
In the letter of protest forwarded to us by the taxpayer, they cited the following BLGF Legal Opinions as mentioned above. Hence, we would like to request of such copies in order for us to clearly understand the rulings decided by your office that will serve as our basis to necessary reply their letter.

Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the Bureau's Executive Director Niño Raymond B. Alvina. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
